The District is committed to fostering a healthy and vital workforce. When you are physically ailing, you schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider for treatment, but who do you contact when you are feeling out of sorts mentally and emotionally? The solution may be as simple as utilizing the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which is part of your health & welfare package.
EAP is a service provided by Managed Health Network, Inc. (MHN). It can assist employees manage a variety of life challenges - childcare and eldercare assistance, financial, legal, identify theft recovery, and daily living. EAP Counselors are available, free of charge, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer questions and provide guidance for your unique situation.
If you do not have medical benefits through the District, you are entitled to clinical support services through MHN to help you stay well. If you have medical benefits, you need to contact your medical provider for clinical support services.
